Ground breaking ceremony for the new Middlesex University campus

Middlesex University and Medine Limited hosted the official ground breaking ceremony Wednesday, October 26, to celebrate their joint venture, the new Middlesex campus within Medine Smart City in Flic-en-Flac.
The 8,000 m2 campus will be able to accommodate some 1,400 students by September 2017 providing them with the best student experiences in a state-of-the-art institution complex with well-designed facilities such as a student cafeteria, an outdoor restaurant, a brand new sports complex with a 50 m Olympic pool, football and rugby pitches, gym and fitness centres, a park and student residences.
Thierry Sauzier, deputy CEO of Medine stated « I am sure these facilities will be instrumental in the success of the campus as well as play an important role in the development of the students. We are creating the island's first integrated and international campus on the west coast of Mauritius »
